Our Story

Starting Out

Founded by Robert and David Walton, Voxalis was born out of a passion to disprove the widespread belief that Business telephony and office phone systems require expensive hardware, cabling and complex technology.

Everything about the design and functionality of the Voxalis hosted IP telephone solution aims to simplify phone usage to the point where it exists as a service, much in the same way that Salesforce.com have been doing.

By innovating the office phone system so that it no longer exits as a hardware box and set of cables sitting in each customer office has made Voxalis one of the easiest, business phone systems on the market – and yet one of the most powerful in terms of functionality.

Growing success

While initially for many businesses the idea of hosting voice (still the critical business application) seemed like a risky concept, the advent of ‘Software as Service’ has led to growing market acceptance of hosted business applications including ‘Telephony as a service’. This majority shift in approach has fitted perfectly with the Voxalis proposition helping to drive customer demand and a growing list of clients such as Age Concern, Raw Cut Television, Frosts Garden Centres, Lauristons Estate Agents and Personnel and Care Bank.

Building on success

Working with and developing a strong partnership with Broadview Networks, Mitel and other ‘best of breed’ technology companies and suppliers has since offered Voxalis further opportunity to develop its high quality, robust phone solution. This, combined with first class customer support, has helped us grow rapidly and cement our reputation as a leading provider of reliable, functionally rich, hosted telephony.
